Poland’s trade with the United States rose 18.05 percent, from $7.18 billion to $8.47 billion when compared to the same period the previous year, according to a Polish American Chamber of Commerce of Florida & the Americas, Inc. analysis of latest U.S. Census Bureau data. U.S.A. exports to Poland increased 21.98 percent while imports from Poland rose 15.66 percent.
The U.S.A. deficit with Poland was $1.85 billion.
Poland ranked No. 41 among the United States’ top trade partners through the current period. In the same period one year ago, it ranked No. 46.

In 2016, the latest annual figures available, Poland recorded $9.63 billion in trade with the United States.
Total U.S.A. exports to Poland were $ 3.66 billion and imports from Poland were $5.97 billion. The U.S.A. deficit with Poland was $2.31 billion.
Meanwhile, total U.S.A. trade with the world increased to $2.86 trillion, up 6.19 percent compared to the same period last year. The nation’s exports climbed 5.97 percent to $1.14 trillion; imports climbed 6.33 percent to $1.72 trillion.
United States trade top five countries so far this year, by value, are China; Canada; Mexico; Japan and Germany. The overall trade deficit was $585.16 billion, up compared to the same period of last year when the deficit was $546.8 billion.
