China Homelife Show 2017

Last year in June the China Homelife Poland Show 2017 took place covering Central and Eastern Europe.

All participants of this largest meeting of entrepreneurs in Poland, both the exhibitors and visitors to the fair, representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises agreed that the 6th edition was larger than previous one in terms of interest from visitors.

The trade fair was visited by 13,848 guests from 17 European countries, including 1,650 people from Central and Eastern Europe as well as around 2,000 Polish Hosted Buyers. The Hosted Buyers program covers the costs of transportation by coach, accommodation and meals.

Many Polish entrepreneurs arrived for the fair due to the participation of companies authorized by the Chinese authorities in the event. In their opinion, such authorization increases the credibility of conducted business talks. In Poland, over 60,000 of their products were exhibited by representatives of 680 Chinese companies from 13 provinces at about 1,300 stands.

Not without significance was the free support of the organizer, which anyone who needed help of an interpreter or an expert on B2B talks could count on, as well as the specially prepared match-making zones for entrepreneurs. The organizers emphasize the quality and number of business and commercial meetings held. During the fair, entrepreneurs conducted as many as 1,377 match-making talks.

Every year China Homelife Show gathers a group of largest Polish companies that have been cooperating with Chinese producers for many years. The biggest Polish private importers were not missing during the event as well.

The expert workshops conducted during the first day of the fair enjoyed great interest. The main issues raised by experts concerned various aspects of Chinese imports, customs and transport procedures, as well as cultural aspects in the negotiation process, quality control, etc. The partners of the workshops were: the Center for Studies Poland – Asia, BigChina.pl, Sea Agency of Gdynia, ChinskiRaport.pl, VERICO Experts, Korolexport, ATC Cargo, Import with Us (Importuj z Nami), Gerlach, Dobrykurs.pl, and Broeakman Logistics.

The meeting was held under the patronage of the Vice-President of the European Parliament, the Ambassador of the PRC, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the marshals of 14 provinces, as well a chambers of trade and commerce.

The exhibition of the best Chinese producers was opened on the Chinese side by: Xu Jian, Ambassador of the PRC in Poland, Liu Lijuan, Consul on Trade in Poland, Liu Xiaoming, director of the City Trade Commission in Hangzhou, Zhu Jun, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, Zang Yaogang, representative of the Department of Commerce of Shandong province, Chen Xu Nuan, representative of the Commerce Department of Guangdong Province, Mr Jianjun, President of Meorient International Exhibition. On the Polish side were: Ryszard Czarnecki, Vice-President of the European Parliament, Adam Struzik, marshal of the Mazovian Province, as well as numerous representatives of Polish and foreign cities nad regions.

As the guests and hosts of the event emphasized, the Polish edition of China Homelife Poland Show is one of the largest and most professional events with the participation of selected Chinese companies in Central and Eastern Europe. This is the first event in our region after the announcement of the One Belt, One Road Initiative by the Chinese government.

Chinese producers arrived, among others, from the historic city of Hangzhou of 9 million residents, which recently hosted the G20 summit. It is the capital of one of the most recognizable brands in Asia – the Alibaba portal. Chinese guests emphasized the strong an positive impression of Prime Minister Beata Szydlo’s last visit in China and the signing of a document in Warsaw commencing the economic investment campaign of One Belt, One Road Initiative.

The organizer of the fair is MEORIENT International Exhibition Co. Ltd. The event was prepared by the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce, Polish Media Association, MindZone and TTG Business News.

The next edition of China Homelife Poland Show will be held on 6-8 June 2018.
